Corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, and other materials are used to ensure protection. All packaging materials used are recyclable and eco-friendly.
DI Gate Valves are shipped via ground, air, or sea, depending on the customer's needs. The carrier is selected based on the size, weight, and destination of the shipment. All shipments are tracked and insured, to ensure that the product is delivered safely and on time.
Cast iron gate valves feature large body volume, heavy weight, and strong impact resistance. The cast iron material provides good corrosion resistance suitable for various industrial and water supply pipelines. Cast iron gate valves are also relatively low cost.
The most common issues with cast iron gate valves are valve jamming, seat leakage, difficult handwheel operation, and external corrosion. Regular maintenance is required, such as re-greasing, packing adjustments, valve cleaning, etc.
Gate valves should be operated regularly, fully opened and closed once every 3-6 months. Also ensure no debris in the pipeline and adequate lubrication. Never force open a jammed gate valve with excessive force.
The usage temperature range for cast iron gate valves is typically -29°C to 220°C. Exceeding this range will accelerate corrosion and wear.
Main maintenance includes: regular re-greasing, inspection/adjustment/replacement of packing, cleaning valve internals, checking bolting, coating maintenance, operation testing, etc.
